How to revamp an old pot and give it some sparkle

Awwww this Jade Money tree is looking a little sad and worse for wear ....perhaps too much rain and not enough sunshine. The pot isn't looking too good either but the fairies and gnomes have assured me that they'd like to come and play. Time for a revamp project! Stayed tuned over the next couple of weeks to see what we create ♥

Next step .... let's give the pot a make over. We chose to use just one colour however it can be fun to get the kids involved in painting pictures, shapes, patches of colours.

A coat of paint to freshen up the pot :O) Sky blue :O)

We cleaned out all of the dead leaves and popped in some fresh soil ♥

....then came the positioning of the magical door!

We marked out a pathway for our garden friends ♥

Then we filled in the path with yellow pebbles ♥ almost like a yellow brick road ...hee hee

Yellow path complete ;o)

Now for some rainbow pebbles....

Swirls of colour! mmmm and what next ?...

some more additions for this enchanted garden pot ... a golden snail shell fairy mail box and a pine cone we found on one of our walks

and then a fairy came to tea ♥
